This is my first corriente saddle and I am VERY pleased with it. I purchased the CSR 1140 Corriente Strip Down Association Wade Horn Saddle, and had a few modifications to it including running W trim and a Cheyenne roll instead of a straight up cantle. Needless to say it arrived early at 28 days so I was definitely happy about that. the quality is no $3000 saddle of course, however for $850 I was very surprised at the craftsmanship and leather. I've oiled it inside and out about 3 times now, and sitting next to my buddies roughout saddle you cant tell that much quality difference. I ridden in it about a month now pretty heavily, and roped the first steer of the season with it and it stayed true to what I need. also I was happy to see that corriente had a 7" gullet option as I ride a lot of wide mustangs so it fits perfect. I will definitely plan of getting another corriente when the time comes. Thank you.
